Tzin sa va anuntz ca inca nu este oficiala, mai este cate ceva de munca. Nu vede tuner, wi-fi, tasta power telecomanda nu functioneaza si o multime de crash.

Here is make file for OE od DM 800 , 2 small diff files for sources which have to be changed ( for FB , and for priority of process for Kernel 2.6.22-19 ) and .config file for Kernel 2.6.22-19 .

Makefile-opendreambox-1.5 ( for whole image , crosscompiler, and all lib's etc. )

Intoarcere dela E2 la AZ

copiare "update" in /tmp (settare a 755)
copiare "backup_kernel" in /MMP

in telnet (se non avete putty o simili ) :
start->esegui -> (scrivere: ) telnet IPDECODER
una volta loggati (root , azbox)
digitate : cd /tmp
in tmp, digitate: ./update /MMP/backup_kernel
e il decoder esegue il ripristino alla predisposizione a ricevere da usb il file patch.bin (con firmware az o sempre E2)

Am instalat Enigma 2 iar revenirea nu a mai fost posibila si acum apare "Booting" si atat!

Recovery procedure

* For all people which have a problem with fleshing Enigma 2 in AzBox , where installation stop ~58% and now have a BOOTING message on display.
You will need :
- Application Acronis True Image
- E2Backup.tib
- External HDD case with IDE controller ( or if You are working on PC, Motherboard which have IDE controller ) .
Take the DOM from AzBox and connect it with IDE connector from Your external usb case for HDD .
Connect the red wire from power cable ( 4-pin Molex connector ) from case ( +5V ) ( picture: Molex and pwrcom ) with right oriented pin on connector which is on DOM - pictures DOM1 and DOM2
Connect USB cable from the HDD case with Your PC.
Now, startup Acronis True Image application, and choose Recovery from the menu on right side - picture 1
Choose Disk Recovery on the top of the window and load file E2Backup.tib and press next - picture 2
Choose Recover whole disk and partition and press next - picture 3
Check-all whole Disk, so it means two partitions : Ext3 and Linux Swap and press next - picture 4
Choose on which disk You will restore content, in our case DOM, and press next - picture 5
Commit with OK - picture 6
Choose Proceed - picture 7
Wait for few minutes that process complete - picture 8
When the restore of data and partitions finish, press Ok - picture 9
now You can exit from application, 'Safely' eject Your external USB HDD, in our case DOM.
Disconnect usb cable, and put back the DOM on AzBox, turn on AzBox and wait for 20 seconds that E2 boot.
Now you can take a look on enigma, and when You decide to go back on Official version of Firmware, that You can do with plugin from DDdamir.
Installation od DDamir plugin is described in another tutorial.

daca esti din timisoara gasesti sigur un sirb sa-ti traduca toata procedura de mai jos, care este o explicatie la ce am postat mai sus si care este o procedura care functioneaza sigur. un raspuns dat de telesat (multumiri@telesat)

Prijatelju , umesto da pravis scene , pokusaj jos jedanput da vratis backup koji sam postavio u prvom postu u ovoj temi.

Hajde da objasnim jos jedanput jer mislis da TI imas neku cudnu i situaciju.
Nema tu cuda , situacija je prilicno jednostavna :
Kad si ubacivao E2, uradio si sledece :
1.Krirao 2 particije na DOM-u
2.Ubacio novi kernel
3.Kopirao fajlove od E2 na DOM-u

Tebi je puklo na 58% u tacki 3.), sto podrazumeva da su prve dve prosle, a to znaci da je trenutno stanje u tvom azboxu :
1.Imas novi kernel
2.nemas sve fajlove od E2 u DOM i zato se nemoze podici box

Resenje koje sam ponudio je prilicno jednostavno , samo moras ga odraditi kako treba , a to je - postavljen je dump mog DOM-a na kom je instalirana enigma ali koja provereno radi, i ti treba da to vratis (kako je opisano) u tvoj DOM , nakon toga , ako to odradis kako treba , dobices E2.

Ako ti i dalje stoji BOOTING , to znaci da nisi vratio sadrzaj DOM-a i nista drugo.
Posto je i drugima prosla procedura vracanja Dump-a od DOM-a sa E2 , to samo ukazuje da je Dump ok, sto pa znaci da je problem , kako sam vec rekao , iskljucivo i jedino kod tebe ustvari u sam proces koji ocigledno ne radis kako treba.
I jos bih te zamolio da umestod a teras inat - da pokusas da ponovis proceduru a pre toga procitas pazljivo.
Ako i tada ne uspe , onda pokusaj da nadjes nekoga ko se bolje razueme u ovo i da ti pomogne da resis problem, jer veruj, nema misterije , stavr je prilicno jednostavna

Potrebno je imati :
TFTPD32
backup_kernel
putty
Seriski Interface za povezivanje sa AZBoxom

Potrebno je znati koja je IP adresa vaseg racunara, to mozete saznati ako udjete u command promt,
znaci idete na Start pa u polje run upisete cmd i pritisnete enter, onda kucajte ipconfig i enter i dobicete info o IP adresi
Predpostavimo da je IP adresa na vasem racunaru : 192.168.1.12 (potrebno u nastavku teksta)
U tom slucaju biramo IP adresu za AZBox u rangu gde je IP od racunara , uzecemo recimo : 192.168.1.34

1.Pokrenite TFTPD32
2.Pokrenite Putty , prebacite na serial, upisite COM-port na kome je vezan vas seriski interfejs , pod Speed upisite 115200
3.Povezite seriski interface sa AZBoxom i ukljucite AZBox
4.Pratisnite CTRL+C da bi prekinuli bootiranje
5.kucajte :

setxenv y.ipaddr "192.168.1.34"
setxenv y.gateway "192.168.1.1"
setxenv y.subnetmask "255.255.255.0"
net init
load -b tftp://192.168.1.12/backup_kernel 0xb0100000
pflash write -f 0x80000 0xb0100000 0x680000

Sada cekate da prvo obrise deo FLASH-a , pa onda da upise novi sadrzaj.
Ovo traje oko 5-6minuta , budite strpljivi da zavrsi i na kraju rebootajte vas AZBox.
Ako je sve proslo kako treba, dobicete na TV-u standardni update koji vam je poznat,
ubacite USB stick sa Oficijalnim FW-om i ubacitega kao i do sada.

4. Start AZUp , write IP adress of AZBox (see VFD), then click on Update button on AZUp, wait and follow message on AZUp and VFD, when all done - wait for reboot msg on VFD and then remove USB stick

edit: DON'T USE KGD FIRMWARE TO RECOVER. USE ORIGINAL OPENSAT'S FIRMWARE FIRST.OTHERWISE IT WON'T WORK IN AZUP

edit2: after reboot azbox and close and open again AZup i managed to flash azbox back to original by @hfmls
incearca pe portul USB din spate, eventual un fw original OpenSAT(0.9.3877)

p.s. dar ai lansat AZup pentru finalizare?

If You want to load this version of Enigma 2 for AzBox HD Elite / Premium please follow this procedure :

1 . Load this patch.bin ( Enigma 2 ) file on FAT32 formatted USB Memory Stick

2. Turn Off Your AzBox HD Device, put USB Memory Stick inside and Turn on AzBox HD Device.

3. Follow the procedure USB Update on the screen, after process is finished, remove the USB stick from the AzBox HD Device, and let AzBox HD to Reboot

4. After reboot is finished, You should be in Enigma 2 AzBox HD Running state

5. If You tested enough Enigma 2 on AzBox HD Device and want to be back on AzBox Official Firmware, it is piece of cake

6. Load on FAT32 Formatted USB Memory stick patch.bin ( Official AzBox HD Firmware e.g 0.9.5020 ) .

7. Turn Off AzBox HD Device, put USB Memory stick in Receiver, and Turn it on.

8. On VFD You will see RESCUE MODE and IP Address will be listed.

9. On Your PC run application called AzUP by our team member telesat, enter IP of Your AzBox HD Device and click on UPDATE

10. Wait that Update is finished, and You will have again AzBox HD Official Firmware

This is totally RISK FREE Installation and Recovery procedure for AzBox HD Elite / Premium Devices !!!

verifica IP din VFD, configuratia router-azbox(cred ca e necesar DHCP-legat in LAN),
daca utilizezi vista sau W7 reinstaleaza in mod compatibilitate XP, run as..,verifica starea firewall fata de AZUP.
Dupa repornire cu E2 pe USB, ar trebui sa intre in recovery mode.
Odata conectat AzUp poti incerca cu acelasi patch.bin E2.

Daca a instalat careva versiunea ultima de Enigma si poate sa ne spuna si noua daca merge si tunerul de satelit?

Este vorba doar de o versiune "beta", finalizata prin 02.09. O versiune functionala, cu drivere incluse, se va lansa in perioada urmatoare. Este o chestiune de zile sau saptamani, in funcţie de cum merg lucrurile. Sa speram ca de Craciun putem renunta pentru totdeauna la firware-ul Opensat, care multora le-a scos peri albi.

Few tips :
Before loading Enigma 2 , move Your dish to some satellite ( Astra 19.2 e is good because of FTA HD channels ), as on E2 currently we didnt fix DiseQc bug ( We will fix it when we finish Premium+ driver ).
Try to use Simple configuration in Tuner Configuration, e.g choose satellite on which position currently You are.

README for MULTIMEDIA :
First download 2 .so filles attached to this post and put them in :
/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10 directory, and after that follow procedure below :

If You want also to test Multimedia on AzBox Enigma 2 media player , You have to install 3 IPK files located in this archive :

working formats:

IPK Installation procedure :
Transfer 3 *.ilk files to /tmp folder of Your AzBox and run this commands, one by one :

Metoda alternativa de instalare E2
patch.bin in fat32 usb pen, update boot menu, press update, then reboot, then open azup and press "update" with usb stick STILL in azbox hd, using IP that shows in VDF.
then after update goes to 100%, remove usb and reboot.
all should go well to 100% in VDF display.

Da , se misca bine, avand in vedere ca e o versiune alpha.
Unele blocari, cateva green screen dar sa nu cerem prea mult in momentul de fata.
Testat cu cccam214, mgcamd135a, si oscam 093080
cu mgcamd a decodat 2 canale dupa care s-a blocat, cccam ruleaza destul de bine,dar cu unele blocari pe HD, insa cu oscam merge mult mai stabil+zapp mai bun.
In media player mai e foarte mult de munca, ....nu a rulat nimic din contentul meu din HDD(doar mp3).-sper sa ajunga la nivelul fw.OpenSAT, altfel....nu vad rostul E2 pe azbox.
Scanarea e foarte lenta,insa puteti incarca cu Dreamset(fw.Enigma2 ver4).
pentru a testa canalele codate nu uitati sa inlocuiti driverul postat mai sus(chmod755+reboot).
**La incarcarea cu vechea versiune AZUP am avut o eroare de instalare-am dezinstalat si instalat versiunea prezenta in arhiva E2_Update_1.0.25.rar, si totul a mers OK.

nu trebuie neaparat 5020, din cate am inteles nu sunt recomandate versiune KGD.
pune o alta versiune de fw.bin( em am mers cu 4890) pe flash disk si opeste/reporneste-l din spate cu stickul in portul USB intrat.

Trebuie să ştii că adresa IP a computerului dvs., puteţi afla dacă introduceţi PROMT comanda,
inseamnă că sunteţi de gand să inceapă şi să rulaţi in caseta de tip cmd şi apăsaţi ENTER, apoi tastaţi ipconfig şi introduceţi şi veţi obţine informaţii despre adresa IP
Presupunand că adresa IP a computerului: 192.168.1.12 (necesar de mai jos)
In acest caz, vom alege adresa IP pentru rang AZBox in cazul in care IP a computerului, vom spune: 192.168.1.34

1.Pokrenite TFTPD32
2.Start Putty, a comuta la serial, introduceţi portul COM unde aţi conectat interfata seriala, introduceţi viteza de 115200
3.Povezite interfata seriala cu AZBox şi rotiţi AZBox
4.Pratisnite CTRL + C pentru a opri bootiranje
5.kucajte:

y.ipaddr setxenv "192.168.1.34"
y.gateway setxenv "192.168.1.1"
y.subnetmask setxenv "255.255.255.0"
net init
b-sarcină tftp: / / 192.168.1.12/backup_kernel 0xb0100000
pflash scrie-f 0x80000 0xb0100000 0x680000

Acum, aşteptaţi pană la prima contururile flash, apoi introduceţi un nou conţinut.
Acest lucru durează aproximativ 5-6minuta, rabdare pentru a finaliza şi in cele din urmă vă rebootajte AZBox.
Dacă totul a mers bine, veţi obţine la TV intr-o actualizare standard care ştiţi că,
introduceti stick-ul USB cu Oficial FW-om şi ubacitega ca inainte.

BOOTING PROBLEM FIX !!!

After making flash, please imidiatelly go in RESCUE MODE ( Reboot box with USB Memory stick with patch.bin file inserted in RECEIVER ).

Telnet and FTP username and password are :

username: root
password: azbox

After RESCUE MODE show You IP of Your receiver , use putty and telnet to it and type this commands :

mkdir /D
mount /dev/hda1 /D

Connect with FTP to Your Reciever, and go :

/D/etc/init.d and place this bootup file which is there.

Overwrite : YES

Eject USB, Turn off and Turn on Your receiver and all will be ok.

For those with DiseQc not working, download and unpack all files :

Go back to previous version of Enigma 2 1.0.25 and do this :

Go in rescue mode :

mkdir /D
mount /dev/hda1 /D

FTP to Receiver :

File cx24116.ko copy to :

/D/lib/modules/2.6.22.19-19-the_ripper/extra/

When asked to Overwrite, say Yes

File Tunerinfo.py copy to :

/D/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components

File enigma2 copy to :

/D/usr/bin

When asked to Overwrite, say Yes
Remove USB Stick, and turn off and turn on receiver so all will work.

How to use AZUp by @telesat
Because they appeared quasi instructions for AZUp use and procedures for the insertion of E2 in AZBox
I prepared a short and precise instructions - exactly what you need to do
btw , I must to mention , ignore wrong "tutorials" with wrong directions
as : you must use Format App realy funny because AZUp manage partitions of your AZBox
Ignore quasi instructions and use this official instruction from the author of AZUp

We have 3 situation :
I) You have Official FW in your AZBox andyou want to install E2
II) You have E2 in yourAZBox and now you want to install official FW
III) You have E2 in your AZBox and now you want to install new/update of E2

I) You have Official FW in your AZBox andyou want to install E2
Switch off AZBox
Put usb stick with patch.bin (e2)
switch on AZBox
Follow messages on GUI for update official FW (standard procedure)
After about 1 min , your receiver will reboot
Dont remove USB Stick from AZBox !!!
wait for IP adress on VFD of AZBox
Start latest ver of AZUp
Write IP adress in AZUp (see VFD)
Click on button Update
AZUp check for resque mode, also check ver of patch.bin (E2 or official fw)
AZUp create cramfs, Create 3 partition on DOM and formatted them
Copyng E2 kernel in Flash (about 2.5 min)
Copyng E2 files in first DOM partition (about 1 min)
when get popup msg - remove usb stick and wait for reboot (Rebooting... msg on VFD)
New E2 is installed successfully

II) You have E2 in yourAZBox and now you want to install official FW

Switch off AZBox
Put usb stick with patch.bin (Official FW)
switch on AZBox
wait for IP adress on VFD of AZBox
Start latest ver of AZUp
Write IP adress in AZUp (see VFD)
Click on button Update
AZUp check for resque mode, also check ver of patch.bin (E2 or official fw)
AZUp Create 4 partition on DOM and formatted them
Copyng Official (old) kernel in Flash (about 2.5 min)
when get popup msg - first part of update is done, but dont remove USB stick from AZBOX
wait for reboot , and follow messages on GUI for update official FW (standard procedure)

III) You have E2 in your AZBox and now you want to install new/update of E2

Switch off AZBox
Put usb stick with patch.bin (e2)
switch on AZBox
wait for IP adress on VFD of AZBox
Start latest ver of AZUp
Write IP adress in AZUp (see VFD)
Click on button Update
AZUp check for resque mode, also check ver of patch.bin (E2 or official fw)
