A incercat cineva sa conecteze un echosmart cu un server linux pe serial, in oricare mod posibil?
Vreau sa incerc maine si ma gindeam ca poate imi dati vreo idee, sa nu plec de la 0.
Scopul acestei incercari e de a face din echosmart un phoenix, adica sa ruleze pe un canal, sa-si faca update, si sa dea si el ceva din card in server....
Pe LAN nu pot sa-l fac sa scoata nimic...

Nu cred ca este vre-un soft care sa te ajute sa faci din Echosmart server.Poate daca incepi sa cauti prin protocoalele sssp sau altele,dar nici asa nu ai sanse prea mari.Sssp stia gbox si mbox,dar nu a reusit nimeni sa confirme functionarea lui pe Echosmart cu toate ca apare la unele softuri in meniu.
De la protocolul folosit pe serial nu este un corespondent pe dream inafara celui de mai sus.Poate ai sanse mai mari cu newcamd pe lan?Nu cunosc nimic de varianta cu lan a Echosmart si daca se poate folosi ca server sau doar ca si client.Am impresia ca totusi poti pune doar linii newcamd in mod client si atat.Sorry.

Nu e vorba de alt soft, echo sa ramina cum e si sa-l pun master. Deci cum sa-l fac sa se pupe cu masina linux? Pe serial!

M-am exprimat gresit,poate.Nici un soft pentru Echosmart nu are inclus un protocol de sharing care sa il faca si server,cel putin eu nu stiu.
Pe serial era gandit sssp care sa fie legat la un receptor (tot linux) cu gbox sau mbox.Strainii au confirmat functionarea acestui protocol pe unele receptoare dar nu pot spune daca receptorul cu sssp functiona si ca server.Pe Echosmart nu e functional in nici un fel,eu zic ca apare degeaba in meniu.

Poate. Eu am dat lejer pe serial intre 2 echo, unu master unu slave. E, acu vreau sa inventez o pozitie noua, poate iese....
Rugamintea mea s-a adresat celor care au incercat ceva, cu sau fara rezultat, asa din vorbe se poate presupune orice.

Din cate stiu, cred ca poti sa faci din echosmart server de newcamd.

pe echosmart 792 mergea sa fie server in gbox din cate stiu eu , dar ce stiam eu era doar numai pentru cardul din aparat

nu stiu exact ce vrei tu sa faci , am lasat deoparte testele cu echosmartul , plus ca nu mai am nici 792 de 2 ani si nu te pot ajuta decat cu sfaturi

mergea sa faci server pe gbox din echosmart , dar pe cccam nu erat decat client

tu nu ai specificat ce tip de echosmart ai 791 ? sau 792 ?

Am 791 si 792. Acum am cardul in smargo/oscam/debian cu N dat intr-un dm500 care ruleaza incontinuu pe un canal de pe card ca sa-mi dea emm in oscam.
Vreau sa pun cardul in echosmart, sa stea pornit pe canal, sa faca au (daca in 2-15 min maxim nu vin emm, se blocheaza) si sa scot 1 N din el pe retea sau pe serial, cum o fi...

pe 792 in gbox iti vede cardul in distanta 1 ( il vede verde ) , dar alte carduri nu le mai vede

Am mai sapat si niste rezultate minime am obtinut cu adaptor usb/serial prelungit cu un null-modem cu SSSP. Doar cu null modem nu vrea sa simta nimic

Greseti profund, pe serial se leaga cel mai bine la mamica gbox-ului si cu putina indemanare + multa rabdare poti face multe cu el.

Subiectul de mai jos n-are nici o legatura cu debian....insa incerc si eu:

-a reusit cineva sa lege echosmart fara Transfer To Net de un server OSCAM care ruleaza pe windows ??? Daca da, care este "linia magica" care face acest lucru posibil ??

@lao SSSP nu merge pe ecosmart dar pe humax de exemplu merge deci nu e vorba se oscam, e vorba de softul in sine pe care eco il are compilat, cu toate meniurile ascuse care le are din pacate, nu are setarea de viteza a seria-lului care in acest caz era foarte utila.

Ai putea sa-mi dai un link sau sa ma "luminezi" putin ?
Chestia asta ma intereseaza doar ca un experiment, pentru ca "simt" ca se poate...
Cred ca echo se poate lega de oscam fara transfer_to_net, cel care a facut software-ul afirma ca sssp functioneaza pe echo, desi nu mi-a mers cu diverse programele, dar cred ca exista o solutie, e doar o problema de setari probabil.
