The new SF4008 UHD 4K comes with some highlights.
The new Octagon SF4008 UHD 4K is already in a few weeks to enrich the still manageable market at Ultra-HD receivers. The box will be equipped with a BCM 7251S main processor with 2x 1700 MHz power. Four gigabytes of Nand-Flash and a gigabyte of RAM ensure proper storage. As is usual for an ultra-HD receiver, the device will, of course, master the HVEC / H.265 video decoder.
In addition to various external interfaces, including one for USB 3.0 usage, the device will also support internal hard disks. 2.5-inch SATA data carriers are to be used. At the front, a 16-digit dot-matrix display is to transmit transmitter names and additional information to the user. In addition to free TV signals, encrypted offers with the new Octagon receiver are also available thanks to CA and CI interfaces.
New and unique in the market is the support of DVB-S2X signals. With this device, packets which are transmitted in the new DVB transmission standard can also be received. These have already been tested intensively by the OpenATV team, who have the receiver available as a preliminary model for software development.
The SF4008 UHD 4K, as well as a majority of the Octagon devices, will use the Linux operating system Enigma2. Several teams are already developing the images for the cheap UHD box. The start of sales will start in December. The entry-level model with Twintuner will cost just 200 euros, other variants are planned with up to three tuners.

Frumos nimic de zi , poate si ''mai'' iute la bootare ( comparativ cu un hdd ) , dar totusi nu e ''pacat'' de acel ssd ?
Din ''experienta'' mea cu media playere + hdd-uri de 2.5" pana la urma din varii motive , hdd-ul va deveni ''sursa de prb'' in timp
Poate daca il tine pornit 24/24 si 7/7 , atunci....... , insa la porniri repetate in timp......
E folosit pentru record acel device despre care spui, nu pentru boot !
Si la K1 tot pe un SSD am reusit sa fac record la canalele 4k.
Zildan , ai incercat sa bootezi k1-unul avand conectat un ssd in locul hdd-ului ?
Sa vezi ce diferente sunt la timpii de bootare si apoi in timp mai vorbim
Normal ca pt inregistrari ( printre alltele ) e folosit , insa se "simt" practic si timpii de boot-are intre un ssd si hdd

Si aici ,sa speram ca mario , inceteaza cu flame-ul !
Alooo ! Aparatul asta nu are Linuxu pe SSD, si deci nu boot-eaza de pe el.
K1 nu cere timp suplimentar la boot cand are ssd pus pe USB.

a) USB Medium auf FAT32 formatieren.
b) Firmware entpacken.
c) Ordner sf4008 auf USB Medium kopieren.
d) Gerät ausschalten (stromlos) am Netzschalter.
e) USB-Stick in den USB-Port front des OCTAGON`s einstecken.
f) Gerät am Netzschalter einschalten.
g) Front Power Taste drucken.
h) Das Image wird jetzt geschrieben, dauert ca. 2-3 Minuten.
i) Nach Abschluss des Flashvorgangs erfolgt ein Reboot des OCTAGON`s

Guten Morgen
Nachdem ich gestern meinen SF4008 bekommen habe , habe ich sofort mit DVB-S2X probiert.
Auf 33° Ost gibt es 3 Franzosiche Sender die mit diese neue Norme gesendet sind.
Alles funktioniert einwandfrei. gefunden und gelesen.
Nur die Anzeige vo FEC ist nicht real da ist 8/9 geschrieben, in Wirklichkeit ist es 25/36
stort nicht man kann sowieso das Bild sehen,wird bestimmt bald modifiziert

după ce am primit ieri SF4008 meu, am incercat imediat cu DVB-S2X.
La 33 ° Est, există 3 stații de Franzosiche , care sunt trimise cu aceste noi norme.
Totul funcționează bine. găsit și citit.
Numai FEC afișare VO nu este real , deoarece este 8/9 in scris, in realitate, este 25/36
nu deranjează , puteți vedea imaginea oricum, este determinată in curand modificat , de asemenea , cu MultiStream + PLS, de data aceasta la 45 de Sud cu ușurință

@ghita_49, la Octagon schimbarea de imagine se face cu stick-ul, tu de ce ai vrea sa o schimbi cu cablu?

- se formateaza un stic USB in FAT 32 pe care se copiaza fiserul SF4008 dupa ce a fost dezarhivat si incarcat dn linkul de mai sus;
- se introduce sticul intr-o mufa USB din fata sau dn spate si se stinge aparatul de la butonul POWER OFF dn spate;
- se apasa si pe butonul POWER ON din spate si cand pe ecran apare secventa de boot se apasa pe butonul ON din fata
- cand apare pe ecran RootFille System se elbereaza butonul ON din fata si se lasa aparatul sa isi faca incarcarea si instalarea softului pana ce pe ecranul TVului apare sigla OpenATV 6.0.
Inutil sa mai amintesc ca orice manevra sau intrerupere de curent va poate face nefunctional aparatul.

In"cartea tehnica",de fapt o brosurica a aparatului scrie : RS-232 Cable and other accessories can be purchased separately.
Asta m-a facut sa cred ca la acest aparat la oareceva,ce nu cunoastem noi deocamdata,se foloseste si un adaptor null-modem.
Poate spune cineva de aici de pe forum unde este produs Octagon SF4008 4K?
Probabil in europa sau china , oricum numai sunt cum era inainte de 1989 - Made in Germany sau......
Sunt sigur ca si echipa de "dezvoltatori" sunt tot "multinationali"
REMOTE CHANNEL STREAM CONVERTER
Descriere:
Acest plugin E2 chiar daca la origine a fost facut pt Vu el functioneaza pe toate receptoarele cu Enigma 2.
In fond acesta este un fel de IPTV local adica cu ajutorul lui se pot viziona programe pe un receptor (client) din Listele de Buchete aflate de pe alt receptor E2 (server) dintr-o retea locala (wifi sau Lan) din casa.
Deci conditia principala sunt 2 receptoare E2 aflate in aceiasi retea Net din casa.
Instalare si functionare:
Din meniul receptorului client cel pe care dorim sa vizionam programele respective din celalalt receptor de la Plugin facem Download (buton verde) si de la sectiunea Extensii instalam pluginul "Remote Channel Stream Converter" dupa care facem un restart GUI.
Tot la Meniu - Setup - Service Searching observam ca apare un sub-meniu: Remote channel stream converter (foto 1) pe care apasam apoi buton Galben.
Apare o interfata unde trebuie sa scriem IPul receptorului unde sunt programele pe care dorim sa le vedem (IP Server) (foto 2) si apasam buton Verde.
Dupa ce scaneaza buchetele din receptorul server acestea vor apare in interfata urmatoare (poza 3) unde dam un Download pe buchetul dorit.
Acum avem acest buchet alaturi de celelalte in receptorul client deci nu avem decat sa apasam pe cel dorit ca acesta sa se deschida.
Concluzii:
In primul rand ca sa functioneze perfect acest sistem de vizionare multi-room ca sa-l numesc asa trebuie sa se afle intr-o retea locala Net stabila si buna indiferent daca receptoarele sunt legate prin wifi sau cablu.
Daca receptorul server este in functiune atunci pe receptorul client se poate vedea NUMAI programul pe care este serverul dar daca este in Stand By atunci se pot urmarii toate programele din cel server.
Cu cat sunt mai performante receptoarele (server/client) cu atat programele urmarite sunt mai fluide, fara intreruperi.
Testul facut de mine a fost intre Un Mut@nt HD51 ca si client si Un Octagon SF4008 sau un SAB Unix Solo ca si server.
Cu aceasta ocazie Mut@ntul a beneficiat de programele receptoarelor server unde tunerul era compatibil cu Multistream sau DVB-s2X in cazul Octagonului fara nicio problema.
In concluzie o buna solutie de vizionare multi-room.

Eu chiar am testat Octagon sf4008 ... si drept sa va spun nu
m-a interesat nici o clipa unde este fabricat ! receptorul merge
foarte bine si face tot ce m-am asteptat ... inclusiv S2X si Multistream !
Si apoi ... hai sa presupunem ca este facut in Turcia ... stiati
ca 90% din marcile vandute in Europa de TV-uri , altele decat Sony,
Samsung, Philips si LG ... sunt fabricate de Vestel ? ei sunt turci ...
get beget ! ca sa zic asa ... la un moment dat Sony producea televizoare
pentru Europa in Polonia si in ... Turcia ! ghiciti unde ...

Salut,
Poate nu postez unde trebuie dar am si eu o intrebare pentru ceilalti posesori de Octagon SF4008. Puteti receptiona in bune conditii programele Mediaset de la 5W? La mine de cateva zile au inceput sa apara frecvente macroblocuri desi par a avea semnal suficient. Mai apare la cineva aceasta problema? Precizez ca restul programelor multistream de la 5W merg bine exceptie facand cele ce apartin de Mediaset.
PS: nu am facut update de firmware si nici nu am schimbat nimic la antena.

sincer nu cunosc magazinele de specialitate din italia dar te pot indruma spre cele aflate in spania pe care le cunosc deoarece am colaborat/achizitionat receptoare;lnb, antene bineinteles doar pentru mine .
in cazul in care doresti adresele mag din spania te ajut nicio problema
o alta varianta ar achizitionarea de pe ebay din germania
si in italia sunt forumuri de specialitate incearca/intreaba/scrie si acolo si vei fi indrumat mai bine

Din cate am citit despre acest receptor doar pe primul slot ( din cele 2/3 cate are ) dedicate tv tunerelor plug-in-play , doar pe primul exista optiunea de 2x ( dvb-s/s2 sau dvb-c/t/t2 )
Depinzand doar de tipul tv tunerului pe care il ai/montezi tu pe acest slot
Astfel ca dupa mine eu zic ca daca poti ''inversa'' tv tunerele intre ele , oricare dintre cele doua tipuri de tv tunere poate deveni 2x.......
Sau pe primul slot este deja ''configurat/montat'' de catre fabricant tv tunerul in speta ( dvb-s/s2 sau dvb-c/t/t2 ) , astfel ca numai poate fi vorba de respectiva ''inversare'' de care am scris anterior

Da, acela ar fi doar pentru receptia programelor transmise terestru sau prin cablu. Poti adauga si tunerul DVB-S2x daca il iei separat. Cand l-am luat pe al meu acum cateva luni am putut gasi doar varianta cu tuner DVB-S2x dar am luat separat si tunerul DVB-C/T2.

Astazi am avut din nou probleme cu receptia programelor Mediaset. Este pentru a 3-a oara in aceasta vara si coincidenta sau nu problemele apar cand este un val de canicula. Temperatura in carcasei in zona tunerelor ajunge la 38 grade fata de 33 grade cat este de obicei.
In incercarea de a rezolva problema i-am montat un ventilator de calculator pe carcasa si deocamdata pare sa isi fi revenit.
Am mai observat cineva probleme de acest gen sau sunt singurul "norocos"? Nu inteleg de ce numai cu transponderele Mediaset face asa... orice altceva merge fara probleme indiferent de temperatura.
@numerci.Eu am imagine satdreamgr,imagine care imi arata temperatura procesorului.Aceasta temperatura se duce pana la 70-72° C.Nu stiu cat o fi de concludenta,dar la mana sigur simt carcasa calda.Am pus receptorul pe un cooler laptop,asa imi arata 58-59° C.
Am intrebat pe un forum nemtesc de"specialitate"daca cineva stie concret ce temperatura ingaduie producatorul.Deocamdata nici un raspuns.
La mine nu temperatura procesorului e problema ci temperatura tunerelor. In acea zona a carcasei era foarte cald. La mijloc unde este procesorul temperatura e ok.
I-am pus si eu un cooler pad dar face mai mult zgomot (nu l-as putea tine deschis non-stop) decat solutia mea home made. Sa vad si cat de bine raceste acum.

Eu am 2 tunere satelit,nu sunt calde.Dar incalzeste procesorul destul.Am facut controlul"digital"avand carcasa deschisa.Oare ce temperatura se creea daca avea si
transformatorul in interior ?
Eu am unul DVB-S2x si altul DVB-T2/DVB-C. Cel de sat e cel mai cald.... pana si mufele se simt foarte calde. Trebuiau sa faca mai multe fante de aerisire in acea zona. Cat priveste transformatorul e aproape la temperatura camerei.... sau cel putin asa simte la atingere.
Un receptor foarte fain daca nu ar avea problema asta... sper sa nu se strice. Nu vreau sa stiu ce ar comenta.

Dupa mai multe ore cu cooler pad-ul se pare ca "raceste" cel mai bine cand este pus deasupra, carcasa si tunerele fiind aproape la temperatura camerei. Atunci cand este pus sub receptor efectul de disipare a caldurii este mult mai redus, plus ca arata mult mai bine. :) Parca e o drona. :)

e o problema de semnal/transmisie si treaba asta o vei observa si la francezi poate mai rar dar si le ei se manifesta,nu are treaba cu tunerele sau cu temperatura lor . Si mai vizibila e pe 12west (persidera) unde cade semnalul de se opreste imaginea si se tot agata la 4-5 minute . Poate e in zona Romaniei o problema de semnal si la italieni nu se manifesta .
La inceput asa am crezut si eu ca am probleme cu semnalul dar nu era asa. Am patit deja de atatea ori treaba asta incat sa spun acum 99,9% sigur ca, caldura este cauza. La inceput asa face se rupe un pic imaginea la 4-5 minute dupa care face din ce in ce mai des pe masura ce se incalzeste. Lasat mai multe ore ajunge sa faca in continuu. Daca este oprit 5 min isi revine dar o ia de la capat in acelasi mod. Un simplu restart nu rezolva nimic... trebuie sa se raceasca.
De cand este ventilat si tinut strict la temperatura camerei nu mai am nici cea mai mica problema.
PS: pe francezi si pe transponderele RAI nu a avut niciodata probleme. Nici cele mai mici intreruperi. Semnal am suficient pentru ca prind si transponderul cu posturile algeriene care conform hartilor de acoperire aici nu ar trebui sa se prinda aici.
A nu se intelege ca am ceva cu aparatul, chiar imi place foarte mult si nu l-as schimba. Pacat de aceasta mica problema.
Avand in vedere ca vorbim de calitate HD si 4K pana undeva este si normal sa se intampla chestia cu incalzirea excesiva
La radiatorul ala ''amarat'' de pe procesor , daca mai exista si un hdd intern , caldura degajata de tv tunere si o caldura ambientala in camera de peste 25 de grade .......
- La laptopuri nu este la fel in aceeasi situatie ?
Si laptopurile de regula nu au doar un ''simplu'' radiator ca in cazul acestui receptor
Ca orice receptor si acesta a fost gandit pentru o temperatura ambietala de 25 de grade si nu ''saunele'' care le avem unii dintre noi in aceasta perioada
Mi-ati adus aminte de ''patanile'' cu DM-urile 500 ''originale'' care la fel pateau de la o incalzire excesiva in interior , neavand nici un ventilator montat intern , decat un banal radiator
A trebui chinezi sa scoata ''clonele'' cu radiator + ventilator ca apoi sa apara si acel ventilator foarte necesar pe timp de vara si la ''originale''
Pana la urma conteaza fluxul de aer/curentul care strabate receptorul dintr-o parte in alta si mai putin marimea radiatorului
A se vedea la media playere , modele ''silentioase'' care au una dintre laturile aparatului un ''ditamai'' radiatorul in toata regula
La acest receptor nu merge o astfel solutie , insa niste ventilatoare pe laterale care sa bage/scoata aerul cred ca este cel mai indicat
Mai ales ca in E2 exista parca si un plug-in pentru controlul temperaturi/turatiei pentru ventilatorul de pe radiatorul procesorului
Acum nu stiu practic daca acest receptor e ''dotat'' cu un senzor de temperatura sau daca procesorul lui are asa ceva incorporat ca la proacele de pc ( intel , nu stiu daca si amd are asa ceva intern )

Am o rugaminte la voi, nu sunt familiarizat cu oscam, inainte nu-l foloseam, acum am instalat Open SPA si oscam r11390, am configurat in fel si chip insa nu reusesc sa-l fac sa-mi citeasca softcam.key. Am citit tot ce am putut intelege, am reusit sa adaug lini C, pe partea asta se misca foarte bine, insa nu reusesc sa citesc fisierele clasice.
Va rog sa ma luminati si pe mine.

@numerci, eu am avut in primul slot dvb t2/c si in al doilea slot satelitul, nu am reusit sa scanez deloc Mediaset-ul de la 5W, am instalat mai multe imagini, am scos pozitionerul, am introdus toti parametri manual, aveam semnal mai bine ca pe alte tp-uri insa fara rezultat. Am citit apoi pe forumuri si am gasit ca este o problema, merge foarte bine in portul B, asa ca am mutat tunerul de satelit de pe slotul 2 in slotul 1, apoi am lasat neconfigurat portul A, am configurat pentru satelit portul B si pentru dvb-c portul C, am dat apoi scanare pe 12606 si a mers fara probleme, de doua zile ma uit pe mediaset-uri si nu am nici o intrerupere. Se pare ca acel tuner dual functioneaza mai bine pe a doua intrare.
1) cauta o varianta de Oscam cu EMU !

Multumesc pentru sfat. De la inceput am avut configurat tunerul de sat pe C. DVB-T2 l-am avut tot timpul pe A. Cu aceasta configuratie sunt de la inceputul lui Martie si nu am avut nici cea mai mica problema. Exceptand perioadele de caldura.
Acum s-a racorit un pic in casa si functioneaza normal neventilat.
Pentru a face upgrade la Openatv trebuie copiate si dezarhivate toate cele 12 fisiere din ? http://images.mynonpublic.com/openatv/6.0/index.php?open=sf4008. Care versiune merge mai bine 6.0 sau 6.1 ?

Salutare. Cei care il au ,functioneaza CI + de la orange satelit
Ai dreptate cristo4 ,nu merge. Am incercat cu toate imaginile care sant la ora actual,si nimic . Am schimbat la imagini pana mi-a ramas blocat pe booting . Norocul meu a fost ca am fost in termenul de 7 zile si mi l-au schimbat cu altul nou.
Imposibil sa nu fie o rezolvare sa nu mearga cam-ul de la portocala.
Eu am renuntat sa mai sper. Daca gasesti rezolvarea, te rog sa o postezi.....
Cred ca maine voi pune o imagine,ultima aparuta,Open8eight.

Fisierul ala oscam il extragi...si il muti intr o locatie in pc ul tau...de acolo il transferi in bin prin ftp dai atribut 755..restart oscam si gata...
Singura chestie este ca fisierul bin sa aibe aceasi denumire cu ce ai in oscam script adica scriptu de pornire oscam....daca ai avut tot asa cu oscam...lasi asa...daca ai avut pana acum alta denumire...redenumesti ...oscam...

Daca te referi la pluginul CI+ helper, da, l-am instalat.
L-am instalat si nu merge. Am probat tot ce este imagine si plugin ciplushelper.

In ATV acel ciplushelper....nu functioneaza...ptr ca nu exista suport ptr SOFTCAM.......REGULILE DE FORUM SI DE IMAGINE...
Deci posibil rezolvarea sa fie in alta parte :)
Ba functioneaza fara probleme CIplushelper pe OpenAtv. Testat pe Mutant 51, fara plugin nu merge camul CI+, dupa instalare plugin merge fara probleme....

ATENTIE:se deconecteaza de la receptor totul (hard disk ,antena satelit,stick usb)
se executa urmatorii pasii:
se decomprima arhiva rar si se pune pe un card micro sd (numai bootloader)
se introduce micro sd in adaptor si se introduce in locasul sau
se porneste aparatul pentru a incarca bootloaderul
in cazul in care sa incarcat bootloaderul receptorul trebuie sa se reinitializeze singur.
se opreste receptorul (pe un stick usb pune o imagine valida) si se reporneste aparatul de la intrerupatorul din spatele aparatului pentru a o incarca
se poate mai pe intelesul tuturor...
este un nou bootloader? sau este ptr. repararea receptorului?
de ce un microsd si nu stick usb?
ce inseamna :"locasul sau"? adaptorul micro sd sau are receptorul cititor micro sd
este acel bootloaderul repair sau recovery de la octagon sau de pe forumul openatv nu este nimic specisl ----sf4008_recovery_1.0.zip----

in cazul in care cu stick usb nu reusim sa punem un nou firmware se poate folosi si un card micro usb pe care se introduce in microSD Card Reader usb
ca o varianta alternativa sau ca o solutie de avarie pentru readucerea receptorului pe linia de plutire
------se introduce micro sd in adaptor si se introduce in locasul sau ------
imi cer scuzele de rigoare pentru greselea mea de exprimare
atunci cand am scris acele randuri eram cu gandul la persoana/persoanele care au necazuri cu receptorul in cauza
nici pe departe nu avem chef/gand de glume de prost gust
si eu am trecut prin aceste faze cu alte receptoare si stiu cum este ,se poate intampla la oricine

A reusit cineva cu acest receptor sa prinda noul transponder multistream de la 5 grade vest? 12543/H/34200
Ar mai inca 35 de canale din Italia.

crezi tu ca octagon...stie sa receptioneze canale unde nu exista semnal?....au fost...sau dus….sau poate ne am luat o in barba,cine stie
Putea fi o incompatibilitate cu tunerul meu sau sa am eu o problema la antena. Daca nici tu pe Mutant nu ai semnal e clar, au oprit emisia. Poate vor reveni.
Acum este semnal pe acel transponder (AGC indica prezenta semnalului) dar SNR ramane 0. Sigur imi mai lipsesc ceva parametrii in setari.

Am rezolvat problema. merge acum si la mine. Se pare ca daca adaug manual setarile nu merge... daca este in satellites.xml a gasit canalele imediat. Poate greseam eu ceva totusi.

nu...a fost doar o strategie …..eliminarea canalelor HD PREMIUM si Premium +24 de pe terestru si implicit multistream si venirea celor 4 sau 5 canale de rahat de la sky....
niste merde si astia….nu stiu cum sa futa client ptr asi satisfice nevoia de supravetuire si bani…

Va mai merg subtitrările pe canalele Discovery de la 0,8W?
La mine pe imagine openspa nu mai merg.
Pus card focus in ci și ci in TV, subtitrare ok, pe receptor nu mai merg deși subtitrarea intra oricum, indiferent dacă pe canal era subscripție sau nu. Concluzie, subtitrările pe canalele Discovery de la focussat au fost criptate.
Cu ce versiune de oscam pot folosi cardul focus ca să am și subtitrare?

Cred ca cea mai buna imagine acum este opendroid 6.7.0. Este o diferență mare fata de celelalte imagini .

Am instalata imagine OpenSpa.Suprafara scrisa cu lista de sateliti,favorite,posturi tv, meniu pe desktop este foarte mica.Scrisul apare mic,se vede rau de la distanta.Asta pare a fi singurul dezavantaj al acestei imagini. Nu depinde de skin,acelasi"meniu"la oricare skin.
Este vreo setare care poate modifica asta ? Va multumesc.
