At DigiTV 1W doing great I do not know why the 16E will not?
Otherwise, the same flaw is also in IMG NF-EOS-Dev-TEAM PinguLux .

Enigma2 RSP RC1 v2

Is working good so far, also after multipe reboots. The normal RC1 gave problems here.

But the glass skin is not working. After selecting it the device is in a booting loop with a green stripe in the screen. Had to remove the skin to normal boot again.

To fix in telnet:

cd /usr/local/share
rm -r fonts
ln -s /usr/share/fonts/ .

now HD Glass 16 is working !

I installed this new Image and it looks like it works perfectly.
Only one question:

I am trying to get in via FTP in order to configure as client,
but I don't get in because of I don't know USERNAME and PASSWORD...can anybody help me about it?

Is it possible to manually add support for the XFS filesystem for recording?
Got a couple NAS devices on XFS.


* Answer * Theoreticaly ...is possible ! but that implies support in Kernel and as we know ...
on SH4 boxes , this does not work reliable ! use a partition formated EXT for recording !
The actual goal is stability ! and of course , after ... we will put flowers at the window !!!

I added the xfs mount manually for now, the recording is working to my nas.

Will have to find out if its going to be stable or not

It doesn't matter which filesystem you have on a NAS when it is shared by CIFS,NFS,... Your NAS must support the filesystem not your client.

Foloseste RC1 prima versiune si nu ai aceasta problema.
V2 a aparut pentru ca la unele aparate erau probleme la boot!

Hi Zildan, I've installed e2Alien_RSP200_rev_G1987 on a Pinglux, and it's looking mostly well. Alas, a couple of caveats: Some remote control events get duplicated. E.g., it's virtually impossible to change the network address using the remote control because the digitis appear twice on screen. I didn't experience this problem with e2_Alien_RSP197_G1981, so that's likely a regression. The second one is minor: I'd like to be able change the volume using the () buttons next to the (OK) button. Currently, those have the same mapping as (^) and (\/). (Alas, that's with the Pingulux RC, which is different from the one delivered with the Alien.) In TuxText, international characters don't work. Instead, I see some frame buffer corruption occasionally. Thanks a lot for your excellent work!
