Default Amiko SHD 8900 Alien and Synology NAS disk station

I currently use a couple of years a Dreambox DM600PVR.
But now more and more broadcasters move to HD, I related The high acquisition cost of an HD Dreambox and chose the Amiko SHD 8900 Alien.

I'm now running the Enigma2 RSP team on the Amiko SHD 8900 Alien.

Via the settings menu, I find the following information:
Enigma 29/03/2011 (no branch) Image Release 3.5.0 30/05/2009.

Through another menu (via red button on AB) I find the following information under the menu option RSP team menu / Image info:
    Enigma2 Duckbox Project rev. 4/10/2011 G1987 RSP v3.200 mod.

Do I now use a proper Enigma2 version or does anyone know a version that works even better?

With my Dreambox DM600 I made use of recording on a NAS disk drive from Synology, which is connected via a mount option to the Dreambox.
For now I cannot get it to work with the Amiko SHD 8900 Alien. Does anyone know how I can get it up and running?

Share your HDD with samba (dm600) and mount in Alien with CIFS.
