Default Distorted judder on HD Channels

    Hi all,

For some time now we have had a problem with some HD channels on sat position 28.2. If you watch a channel after about 5 minutes the video becomes distorted. To explain it better, if you are watching golf and the player hits the ball you can see the ball with 3 other balls behind like a trail, its the same for football. If you switch channel and go back again it is ok for 5 minited then it happens again. If you use spark OS it will not happen only enigma 2 and neutrino. When the add break comes on it does not happen.

We have tried all video setting and also tried changing things via telnet.

At this point it looks like it is the pti drivers as spark dont use them and all is ok with spark.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi thanks for quick reply,

    I have alien 2 7162 and also alien 1 sh8900

we have been activly looking at this on another forum trying to solve it.

It happens on all images HDMU/PKteam/ARP etc, old images are the same. It also happens on RSP images. ( thanks for great work)

Any spark box running enigma2 on 28.2 it will happen.

If you wish for me to gather logs or do anything just let me know.

    many thanks

It is a know issue, this stuttering.
It happens on 0.8w too, but only on some transponders.

Yes same here on 28.2 only on some transponders, never new it happened on 0.8w is it fta or $ channels. Is there anyone working on it on 0.8 as mayby we can pool what we have tried and perhaps fix it. Thanks for the response.

$HD channels. AFAIK it is driver related.

I also think it is driver related, do you have any clues what needs to be changed in the available open source drivers.
