if you try the original VS firmware and the update fails with the following message:
This package is for "ki_plus" devices; this is a "p20x"
it is because your device is defined as p20x in /system/build.prop:
ro.product.device=p20x
you could bother to remount /system as RW and change the above value to "ki_plus", however the modified value only seems to hold post boot; not at boot-loader.
try the no_check_signed firmware, which has removed the device check in "META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script" inside the zip.
no_check firmware was created using the following steps:
1) unzip KI_PLUS-ota-...
2) modify META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script to remove the (2nd?) line:
getprop("ro.product.device") == "ki_plus" || abort ....
3) re-zip the folder. make sure the *.img, META-INF, etc are in the root folder, not inside another folder
4) sign zip file
4a) if you don't have your own method, use apk easy tool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/tool-apk-easy-tool-v1-02-windows-gui-t3333960
4b) rename .zip to .apk; sign using tool; rename .apk to .zip; zip file should have a comment "signed by signApk"
