Gbox how to ... pentru "pufani"

Domnilor, am vazut mai multe tutoriale "how to", dar nu am vazut niciunul in care sa inteleg de ce e nevoie pentru a folosi gbox. Mentionez ca am un receptor skystar HD2, dar nu am CI. Trebuie sa cumpar CI pentru a putea folosi gbox? Folosesc DVB Viewer Pro cu licenta si sunt pe satelitul Thor la 1 grad vest si momentan, cu vplug vad doar d**i. Cu ajutorul gbox se pot vedea mai multe sau sunt si care nu se pot vedea?

Gbox este un emulator de card virtual.
Adica: fara sa ai un card pentru pachetul respectiv, cu ajutorul unei legaturi net catre un peer (partener de share) care are acel card sau care preia la randul sau de la altcineva, gbox-ul iti creaza un card virtual. E ca si cum ai avea tu acel card. Nu ai nevoie de k**...!

Multumesc mult pentru raspuns si as mai dori, daca se poate sa ma ajutati in configurarea unui gbox. Mentionez ca am urmatoarea configuratie a sistemului:
MB Asus P6T SE, CPU Intel core i7 920, 6 Gb DDR 3, Saphire ATI Radeon HD 4850 cu 512 Mb, Skystar HD2 si Windows 7.
Pentru Windows 7 exista vreo varianta de gbox care sa functioneze si daca exista care e si trebuie sa fac ceva special pentru configurare?
Mentionez ca sunt incepator in Skystar si gbox, adica nu am folosit niciodata gbox.

Ceea ce se afla in primul post al acestui topic ar trebui sa fie suficient pentru a rula gbox-ul. Functionarea depinde de configuratia folosita : PC + dvb card + drivers + dvb player + os... si desigur de abilitatea ta de a le configura si a le utiliza.

Un howto pentru dvbviewer si gbox:

I've had a lot of PM's concerning the working of Gbox in combination with DVBViewer. So, instead of replying I decided to make a Howto for Gbox with DVBViewer.

Before starting, you need the gbox_dvbviewer_pack.zip which you can get from HERE as well as a working/functioning DVBViewer Pro 3.9.1 installation. This file contains the following 3 ZIP files:

- FFDecsa_plugin_dvbviewer.zip
- gbox_plugin_10_dvbviewer.zip
- gbox_win32.zip

This file is without DVBViewer 3.9.1 Pro. You need to retrieve this yourself from other resources. You can buy the product on the DVBViewer website for a lousy 15 Euro.

Step 1: Setting up Gbox on your PC

Ok, so you now got a working DVBViewer Pro installation and want to use the sharing option from your Gbox server on your PC. Before you can use the plugins, you need to have a working Gbox server running on the system which has DVBViewer installed. Just extract the gbox_win32.zip to the root of your C-drive.

Edit the cwshare.cfg according to your situation. I advice you use the several other Gbox tutorials on this site for that. I've added examples in the cwshare.cfg (gbox config), cs2gbox.cfg (cs2gbox config) and newcs.xml (newcs config) which will hopefully make some items understandable. And, be sure that Gbox works on your PC before going to Step 2 and/or Step 3!

The cs2gbox and/or newcs config isn't needed for simple inhouse sharing with your current gbox server.

I've added several Gbox versions as well as the GboxControl suite. I would advice the GboxControl suite when running Gbox/CS2Gbox/NewCS, if everything is configured correctly. It uses gboxx86.exe (in this case it's Gbox 2.1b) as default when you start up the application.

Step 2: Add MDAPI functionality to DVBViewer

MDAPI is the standard which most Progdvb, Altdvb, Mytheatre, etc plugins use. Gbox Plugin is a MDAPI based plugin but DVBViewer doesn't have this functionality standard enabled.

To enable MDAPI functionality, extract the file FFDecsa_plugin_dvbviewer.zip into the DVBViewer folder (default: C:\Program Files\DVBViewer).

Step 3: Install Gbox Plugin 1.0

Now that we've got the MDAPI functionality installed, we can now install the Gbox plugin. I've added version 0.0.1.0 of this plugin since it's the most stable for me. However, this version doesn't support HDTV while version 1.1-beta (or 0.0.1.1) does seem to support it. You can get Gbox Plugin 1.1 beta from HERE (sau mai bine din fisierul atasat ) I've had great results with this version allthough it's still beta.

Back to business, extract the file gbox_plugin_10_dvbviewer.zip (or the Gbox Plugin 1.1 beta) into the MDPlugins folder which resides in the DVBViewer installation folder. The MDPlugins folder was created automaticly when you extracted the ZIP file from step 2.

Step 4: Final checks

This should be it! To make sure that everything is allright, startup DVBViewer. If everything is installed allright, you need to have plugin menu option (left of About) which has the sub-options SoftCSA and Gboxplugin.

Under the sub-option SoftCSA make sure you tick the option Decode All. If you disable this option, MDAPI support is disabled.

Under the sub-option gboxplugin make sure that the option Active is ticked, as well as gboxplugin: Enable and optional is the option gboxplugin: Use 184 byte which depends on what SAT card you're using. I do have this option enabled on my KNC1 DVB-S+ card and it seems to working also on my HVR-4000 DVB-S2 PCI card as well.

If everything is setup OK, you should have a working Gbox Plugin in combination on DVBViewer. Next step for me, will be to make a tutorial for Gboxplugin in combination with Mediaportal and/or TVE3.

If it doesn't work, first check that FTA channels are working. Then check your gbox config, after this try to disable the gboxplugin: Use 184 Byte option. You may want to start Gbox without GboxControl so that you can see if requests come through and if they are forwarded correctly to your or other Gbox servers.

Furthermore, all MDAPI related plugins should be put in the MDPlugins folder. There are a couple of plugins which work within the Plugins folder or the MDPlugins folder. Make sure you put them in the MDPlugins, otherwise you may get strange results.

Maestre Einstein iti multumesc pentru raspunsuri, esti un mare om!
Deci, ce am inteles eu din acestea:
1. Trebuie sa-mi fac un cont si un host pe dyndns.org. - am facut!
2. Trebuie sa-mi configurez fisierul cwshare.cfg - neavand nici o linie D, cred ca m-am blocat si aici se sfarseste experienta mea cu gbox!
3. Dupa ce ar fi trebuit sa configurez cwshare.cfg, ar fi trebuit sa deschid gbox control center si totul ar fi trebuit sa fie OK.
P.S. Am incercat pe mirc la #sateliti, dar se pare ca nu e canal de chat, nu se discuta nimic acolo!
P.S.2: Mentionez ca am un ruter Linksys si am configurat dyndns pe el, dar nu stiu ce port sa deschid

Urmareste schita de mai sus ca sa iti dai seama care este.
Poti alege o multime de combinatii, dar trebuie sa ai grija sa nu fie folosit acel port de alta aplicatie in acelasi timp!

Urmareste in lista din link pe cele in dreptul carora apare "Unassigned". Poti folosi aproape pe oricare din acestea, cu conditia sa il folosesti si la linia D din cwshare!

Deci:
1. Am facut setarile in router pt dyndns si port 5566 pe UDP.
2. Am pus in C: folderul gbox care contine multe fisiere (se pare ca e gbox versiunea 2.21b parca)
3. Am pus gboxplugin.dll in fisierul MDPlugins (este doar acest fisier in MDPlugins)
4. Am configurat fisierul cwshare din folderul gbox dupa modelele date ca link-uri de maestrul Einstein.
Intrebari:
1. In afara de linia D pe care nu o am, ar trebui doar sa pornesc gboxcontrol.exe din folderul gbox si apoi DVB Viewer si ar trebui sa mearga sau mai am ceva de facut?
2. Liniile I, X si N le-am pus tot dupa exemple si arata asa:

X: { 0A }
N: { 00 01 03 3F 4000 6000 }
Sunt scrise bine?
Mentionez ca eu nu am card inca. Ma gandeam sa cumpar CI slot pt skystar hd2 pe care-l am, dar mai trebuie cumparate si dispozitivele pt carduri pe care nu le cunosc si nici nu stiu care ar fi cel mai bun?

Inca o data multumesc maestre Einstein si Laleauaneagra pentru ajutorul nesperat!
Dupa mai multe incercari, am reusit sa pornesc gbox-ul, dar cu mesajele din gboxcontrol pe care le-am postat mai sus.
Imi arata ca sunt carduri online etc., deci cred ca functioneaza.
Problema e ca atunci cand pornesc DVB Viewer, dar mai intai pornesc gboxcontrol, imi apare un mesaj "Failed To Bind Socket".
Daca pornesc numai DVB Viewer, se face lumina, dar daca vreau sa schimb canalele, se blocheaza programul si windos 7 mi-l inchide.
Unde am gresit?

Am reusit sa schimb si canalele cu gbox-ul mai vechi, dar tot se cam blocheaza DVB viewer-ul. O sa le scriu celor de la dvbviewer.com despre problema, pentru ca si inainte mergea cam greu pe windows 7 x64.
Programele FTA le schimba imediat, dar cele codate, foarte greu si uneori, cam des, se blocheaza si trebuie sa-l inchid cu task manager.
Gbox-ul ca server trebuie pornit cu gboxcontrol sau asa cum fac eu, adica cu DVB Viewer porneste automat?
Calculatorul meu sta cam tot timpul pornit si as vrea sa-l tin ca server, sa poata si altii sa ia de la mine.
